From Mourning to Morning

I’m finished with my bout of pessimism. No, things aren’t any better than they were when it became clear that Trump would win, but I am focusing on the proactive work that we need to do. I’ll spend my energy building the America around me that is still/always within reach.

And if you still need to do some grieving I’ll be over here—working with those who are ready but not judging anyone—until you are in the headspace to join in the proactive work.

Crafting Platform 2028

We need to start the process now of formulating a policy platform that strengthens America and addresses the prevailing concerns of voters. (Prevailing concerns means it will have to shift over time as conditions evolve.)

Please join me in this process by challenging my assumptions and helping me hone my thinking as I try to identify a platform that would help us move toward the promise of America rather than leaving voters so hungry for change that they’d vote in someone who would trample on our Constitution to get what he wants.
