I will be spending most of next week at a conference at Disney World so I don’t know how much I’ll be posting (little if any, I suspect). Besides that, I will be trying to take some concrete action to shape the group I talked about to encourage more widespread participation in civil political dialog. I’m thinking it will be called "Anything but Neutral."
Before I go silent for a few days I thought I should share the most accurate economic news I’ve read in weeks.
David,
I saw a billboard along I-15 in North Utah County that I thought you would appreciate. It reads
“I think, therefore, I. . .
will vote for the person, not the party.”
I hope it catches the attention of many other drivers and gives them pause to think. I also hope there more like it all over the County. I didn’t have time to read who was responsible for the message because it kind of caught me off guard tonight seeing it for the first time. It motivated me to come home and email most everyone for whom I had contact info living in my Congressional, State School Board and Legislative District regarding a Meet the Candidate gathering next week. Only time will tell if it has any affect.
I really like the sound of that one. I hope it catches on too. Thanks for sharing Barbara.
Disney World. Rough life, dude.
The link was great. It would be funnier if it weren’t so painfully close to the truth.
Yes, rough. They dragged my kicking and screaming . . . 😉
